Washington Men ink nine new Soccerdawgs


SEATTLE, Wash.— Signing day 2013 has arrived, and with it the advent of nine new Husky soccer careers. This highly touted group will arrive in Seattle with big shoes to fill. With eight graduating seniors on the current roster, three of whom were MLS draft picks; the Huskies are looking to reload. This talented group of newcomers hopes to do one better and take the Washington men’s soccer program to new heights.

Emerald City FC’s Casey Berrier drafted into NWSL

SEATTLE, Wash.—Casey Berrier was one of the first faces of the franchise for Emerald City FC of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) as the Seattle youth club debuted its adult side in the spring and summer of 2012. Less than a year later, and with a playing trip to Finland in the middle, Berrier is celebrating her drafting by FC Kansas City of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL.)
